Cookie notice

What VisoLab stores in your browser, and why.

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Summary

VisoLab itself uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to run the Service or to remember a setting you chose. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't add analytics cookies of our own.

One thing to know: when you subscribe, buy credits or change your card, we send you to a secure payment page run by our payment processor, Airwallex. That page is Airwallex's, not ours, and Airwallex's own cookies and analytics apply there. See "The payment page" below.

Cookies

- next-auth.session-token — keeps you signed in. Lasts up to 30 days.

- next-auth.csrf-token — protects sign-in and other forms from forged requests. Lasts for your browser session.

- next-auth.callback-url — remembers the page to return to after you sign in. Lasts for your browser session.

On the live site, the names may start with __Secure- or __Host-. Blocking these cookies stops you from signing in.

Browser storage

These settings stay in your browser. They aren't cookies, and we don't read them to identify you:

- visolab.theme — your light, dark or system theme choice

- visolab.sidebar.collapsed — whether the sidebar is collapsed

- visolab.models.recent.v1 — the models you used recently

- visolab.palette.recent.v1 — your recent command-palette searches

- visolab.formulas.help-dismissed — that you closed the Formulas help panel

- visolab.buyerType — whether you are buying as an individual or a business, at checkout

- visolab.legalLang — whether you chose English or French for the legal pages

- visolab.discountCode (session storage) — the discount code you entered, until you close the tab

You can clear these in your browser settings. Doing so resets those preferences.

Analytics and error reports

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. It doesn't use cookies. We don't use technology that identifies, locates or profiles you unless you turn it on in Settings → Privacy.

Error reports. If the app crashes, it may send the error to our error-monitoring service. We don't record your screen or session.

The payment page (Airwallex)

When you subscribe, buy a credit pack or change your payment card, we send you to a payment page on Airwallex's own website, and bring you back to VisoLab when you are done. It is run by Airwallex, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.

While you are on that page, Airwallex (and any analytics or security tools it uses) may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect information such as your browser and device details. This is controlled by Airwallex, not by us, and none of it happens elsewhere on VisoLab.

For what Airwallex does with this, see the Airwallex privacy policy. If you have a concern, email privacy@visolab.io.

Other sites you visit from VisoLab

If you choose Google sign-in, you go to a page run by Google. That page may set its own cookies under Google's policy. See our Privacy Policy for what we share with them.
